Meet Rich Stagliano, MD

From The ER To The Cutting Edge Of Longevity Medicine

Dr. Rich Stagliano, Longevity Physician for Executives and High Performing Men

High-performing men require an approach to health built for the demands of today — and the decades ahead. One that aims to keep them sharp, resilient, and operating at the level their ambitions demand. Most medical care falls well short of that bar. Dr. Rich Stagliano built his practice to offer something different.

Dr. Rich has spent his career turning cutting-edge clinical research into real-world application and has been practicing medicine for over 25 years, including almost a decade as an emergency room physician — a foundation that instilled rapid pattern recognition, decisiveness under pressure, and a systems-level view of human physiology. Most recently, he served as Medical Director at Biograph in San Mateo, CA (2022–2025), one of the country's leading longevity and precision health clinics. He founded this practice — formerly Live Fit Medicine — in San Francisco in 2008, and is now based in Bend, Oregon.

The wellness industry is full of noise. Dr. Rich cuts through it. His practice is built on a simple conviction: a small number of evidence-based interventions drive the overwhelming majority of long-term healthspan. Everything else is a distraction.

His approach rests on three pillars:

  • Clinical Authority: Complex longevity science, translated into actionable, evidence-based protocols. No biohacks — only strategies supported by peer-reviewed data.

  • Empathetic Partnership: A deep understanding of the pressures of the C-suite and startup world. Not just a plan, but the ongoing clinical coaching needed to integrate it into a demanding life.

  • Operational Excellence: Your health treated as a sophisticated system. Identifying the biological bottlenecks and applying precise, targeted interventions to resolve them.

Dr. Rich isn't here to help you simply live longer. He's here to ensure your physical and cognitive capacity matches your professional ambition — for decades to come.

Beyond the Clinic

  • Originally from the Philadelphia area, Dr. Rich relocated to San Francisco in 2002 and now lives in Bend, Oregon, with his wife and young son — a town that suits him perfectly.

  • At 54, he's also navigating one of the most energizing challenges of his life: fatherhood to a 3-year-old. Starting a family later in life has given him a perspective that goes beyond clinical data. He doesn't just want more years — he wants the physical and cognitive vitality to be fully present for his son's childhood, to get on the floor, keep up on the trail, and be the dad who shows up with energy to spare. It's a motivation that quietly informs everything he does for his patients.

  • When he's not working or chasing a toddler, he's outside — hunting singletrack on a mountain bike, chasing waves on a surfboard, or tracking down powder on a snowboard. Dr. Rich practices what he prescribes: movement, recovery, and a life lived at full capacity.
